In Lisbon, as part of the « Meet Arab Tech« , the session dedicated to the potential of the Arab world as an emerging technology market brought together several influential figures from the Arab technology ecosystem. Among the speakers, the Moroccan Minister of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, Ms. Amal Al-Fallah SEGHROUCHNI, presented Morocco’s ambitions to become a central player in the digital transformation in the region.
The Minister highlighted the national strategy « Digital Morocco 2030« , recently launched to accelerate the digitalization of public services and support the digital economy. She stressed that this strategy also extends to the digital health sector, a crucial area for Morocco in the run-up to the 2030 World Cup. According to Ms. SEGHROUCHNI, the objective is to facilitate access to care through digital solutions and to make public services simpler and more transparent for all citizens.
Through this initiative, Morocco aims to attract investors, support local startups and train young talents in technology professions. Ms. SEGHROUCHNI encouraged participants to explore the investment opportunities that the country offers in an environment undergoing digital modernization.
