Foodics Acquires Solo Venture and Invests in Three Startups to Expand SaaS Ecosystem.

Foodics, a leading MENA-based restaurant and payments technology provider, has fully acquired Solo Venture, a UK-based company specializing in self-ordering kiosks and white-label online ordering solutions. The deal, finalized at LEAP 2025 in Riyadh, aligns with Foodics’ vision of building a seamless, all-in-one SaaS ecosystem for restaurants and catering businesses.

Solo Venture’s AI-driven self-service solutions enhance ordering efficiency and improve profit margins. Integrating this technology into Foodics’ platform will enable restaurants to access a comprehensive suite of tools, covering dine-in management, payments, and analytics.

Ahmad Al-Zaini, CEO and Co-Founder of Foodics, stated: “This acquisition marks a major milestone in our journey to develop the most advanced restaurant management platform in MENA and beyond. To further drive innovation in the F&B sector, we are committing $100M over the next three years for strategic acquisitions and investments in Fintech, AI, and other transformative technologies.”

Strategic Investments in Startups

As part of its expansion strategy, Foodics is also investing in three promising startups:

  • Norma : A Greek AI-powered data analytics firm that enables businesses to generate insights instantly without requiring technical expertise.
  • Add : A specialized accounting platform tailored for small and medium-sized restaurants, streamlining financial reporting and payroll management.
  • Arzaq Plus : A smart food and beverage supply chain platform that optimizes sourcing and logistics, introducing a “Buy Now, Pay Later” feature to the Foodics platform.

Anas Alghanim, Foodics’ Director of Corporate Development, emphasized, “Every investment we make is aimed at providing valuable solutions that drive growth, ensuring our partners and customers have the tools they need to shape the future of the industry.”

This announcement comes as Foodics celebrates its 10th anniversary, having supported over 30,000 food and beverage businesses across 30 countries. With its continued focus on innovation, Foodics remains committed to enhancing restaurant management technology, streamlining operations, and improving customer experiences worldwide.
