The Development Program for Collaborative Financing in Morocco (Crowdfunding) is a joint initiative between GIZ (German Agency for International Cooperation) and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). This program aims to support the creation and expansion of Collaborative Financing Companies (SFC), thus contributing to national economic recovery and the promotion of sustainable economic development.
Program Objectives
The main goal of this initiative is to facilitate the establishment and development of crowdfunding platforms. These platforms can operate in the areas of donation, lending, or investment, thus providing entrepreneurs and very small businesses (TPE) with new sources of financing.
Who Can Apply?
The program is open to:
- SFCs that have obtained accreditation
- Collaborative Financing Companies in the process of establishing their accreditation file
- SFCs that have already submitted their accreditation request
Support and Assistance
Beneficiary companies receive technical support to ensure compliance with the Moroccan regulatory framework, particularly Law No. 15-18 on collaborative financing. This support aims to guarantee a secure and transparent environment for financial transactions.
Expected Impact
By encouraging the use of crowdfunding, Morocco aims to boost entrepreneurship and strengthen financial inclusion. This program presents a strategic opportunity to structure and professionalize the crowdfunding sector while stimulating economic growth and job creation.
The Development Program for Collaborative Financing in Morocco marks a key step in diversifying financing mechanisms accessible to entrepreneurs and startups, thus contributing to a more inclusive and innovative economic ecosystem.
