The African Training and Administrative Research Centre for Development (CAFRAD), in partnership with the Group of African Ambassadors in Morocco (GAAM), is organizing a high-level international diplomatic conference on May 15, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM (Morocco time), at CAFRAD headquarters in Rabat. This meeting, under the theme: « Developing Influence Diplomacy to Build Africa as a Dynamic Force on the International Stage, » will bring together eminent figures from the diplomatic and institutional world.

Among the expected personalities are His Excellency Mr. Mouhamadou YOUSSIFOU, Ambassador of Cameroon to the Kingdom of Morocco and Dean of the Diplomatic Corps, as Patron of the event, and Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in Charge of Digital Transition and Administration Reform, and Chair of CAFRAD’s Board of Directors, who will participate as Guest of Honor.
Dr. Coffi Dieudonné ASSOUVI, Director General of CAFRAD, Ambassador and recognized expert in economic, digital, and climate diplomacy and international negotiations, will be the keynote speaker. The conference will be moderated by Professor Mohamed HARAKAT, Professor of Governance and Political Economy at Mohammed V University in Rabat, founder of several academic programs in diplomatic strategy in Africa.
This conference aims to strengthen the capacities of senior diplomats and support the skill development of African diplomats to face the realities of a complex world. It is part of a dynamic transformation of African diplomatic leadership and promotion of influence diplomacy anchored in ethics, strategy, and cooperation.
This event is primarily addressed to members of GAAM, African and international Ambassadors and diplomats, ministers, senior officials, heads of mission, executive leaders, experts in international relations, academics, as well as representatives of pan-African and international organizations.
